Is the assessment really free?
Yes. The online assessment, Maxiva's review, your report and a discovery call to discuss it are free. Paid work, such as a starting engagement or an Expert Hours package, only begins if you choose it.
Is this an evaluation of our programs?
No. It looks at the time your team spends on manual, administrative work — such as receipts, reconciliation, data cleanup and reports — not at your program outcomes.
Do I need exact numbers?
No. Estimates are fine. If you don't know an hourly cost, leave it open — the tool treats an unknown cost differently from a zero cost, so your baseline stays honest. Volunteer and donor time are shown separately from labor cost.
Will it tell me how much I'll save?
The tool shows your current baseline: the time and cost of the work today. Savings depend on your systems and processes, so a Maxiva specialist reviews them first. Your report then shows staff capacity that could be freed separately from spending that could actually be reduced, with the assumptions behind each estimate.
Can I stop after the quick check?
Yes. You can send the quick check on its own, and we'll follow up. The full questionnaire gives the Maxiva team more to work with, so your recommendations can be more specific.
